🌱 Exciting news from Friends of Hayes! ♻️

For those who came to our Mary Poppins shows, you might have spotted something new… our recycling initiative is officially underway! 👏

Following our recent sustainability review, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make our refreshments more environmentally friendly without reducing the funds we raise for the school 💚

Here’s what we’re doing:
✨ Switching to more recyclable packaging (like cans instead of plastic where possible)
✨ Introducing clearly signed recycling stations at events
✨ Trialling reusable cups instead of single-use plastics
✨ Looking at more locally sourced drinks to reduce our carbon footprint
✨ Exploring more sustainable options for the future

This is just the start, and we’ll keep building on it over the coming months 🌍

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the refreshment stall, every drink you buy helps us raise vital funds and now supports a greener future too 💫

Let’s keep working together to make our events more sustainable ♻️

🎭 Mary Poppins Production is taking place on 19, 20 & 21 March and FoHS will be running a refreshments bar before each performance! We are looking for a few volunteers to help.

If you already have a ticket for the show, don’t worry - you’ll finish in time to take your seat before it starts.
