This week is volunteers week and we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the parents and teachers who help out at our events, especially everyone who is currently helping us to plan and run the Summer Fair on 4th July. Our big events cannot happen with you!

We must also say a massive thank you to everyone on the FOPS committee, who are parents volunteering their time to organise fundraising event and activities at the school and without whom our PTA wouldn’t exist.

We appreciate you all and we’re looking forward to lots of fun in the coming weeks 🥰

The wonderful team at D&B who were one of our amazing sponsors at last year’s Summer Fair are now taking bookings for their Pop Workshop Summer School happening 3rd - 7th August 🎤

Suitable for ages 4 to 18. The week concludes with an exciting performance to showcase the children’s learning and talent! 🤩

Tonight (25th April), Anthony is taking on his THIRD marathon in THREE WEEKS! He’s running the Reverse London Marathon starting at 11pm and running the London route from the finish line to start line 😱💪🏼

Whilst not an ‘official’ marathon (so not a Boston qualifier), it’s still another 26.2 miles to run and this time there are no road closures, fuelling stations (he’s got his gels and water) or medics along the route, but he’ll be running with other people and we’ll be tracking him at home on WhatsApp.

Last weekend he ran Manchester and the weekend before was Brighton (both PBs! 🙌🏼). This one is ‘just for fun’ 😂

Anthony is raising money to help fund the last bit needed for the playground upgrades (for the Reception classes) - please sponsor him and leave a message of encouragement - this is his last marathon in this hat trick challenge (he’ll be having a well-earned rest after this one 🥰).

We’re really lucky that Anthony chose us as his charity and is raising money for to help us refurbish the Reception playground 🙌🏼

Our BUBBLEOLOGIST 🫧 will also be performing from 6:30pm when gates open.

We have some scrap metal for collection. Two metal gazebo frames (broken) and an old metal filing cabinet.

It’s at Parish Primary School, London Lane.
Collection on Friday would be ideal as we’ll be on site getting ready for our laser show event.

It was an eventful first day back at school today as we were welcomed back by a swarm of bees! 🐝 🐝
They had taken up residence on the side of the mansion building so the area was taped off and everyone had to enter school through one gate today.

Tomorrow will be taking on the and raising money for to help us refurbish the Reception playground (as we raised the money for the main playground last year) 🙌🏼🥰

Next weekend he’s also running the 😱 and then possibly an alternative London Marathon the weekend after!! 😉 We think he’s a bit crazy, but we also think he’s such an inspiration and we’re grateful that he chose us as his charity.
