Our Inventors Room have been really busy with our resident chefs Nikki and Sue getting their fingers green. This Saturday in Bromley Town Centre the Floral Fest 2026 competition will be judged at 11.00am and the winners announced 12.00pm. Please follow the link to vote for our planter, the children, Nikki and Sue have worked so hard and all the plants have been grown by them in our fabulous gardening club garden. Nikki and Sue have made such a lovely working garden with our children.

On Tuesday the Investigators children went on a trip to Sainsbury’s to buy different fruits for a healthy snack activity. During the visit, the children explored a variety of fruits, talking about their colours, shapes, smells and names. They were encouraged to choose fruits they liked and to try new ones.

After that, the children had the opportunity to help prepare and make their own fruit salad, snack using the fruits they bought. This encouraged independence, healthy eating and fine motor skills. The children enjoyed tasting different fruits and were excited to make and share their own healthy snack.

The trip also helped the children learn important social and life skills. They practiced walking safely. together, lining up patiently, taking turns, and using good listening skills while in the shop. The children watched how items were scanned and had the chance to scan themselves with support.

We came across the Bromley North sign, some of the children found letters familiar to them, for example the letter beginning their name.

The weather was pleasant and we all thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Darsika on achieving her 4 Years Service here at Bromley.

We are so proud of how far Darsika has come since joining us, completing her level 3 Qualification, alongside now a big room move and new team to support.

Darsika has a lovely kind and caring nature towards the children and everyone around her, she is always willing to help and support everyone.

Vickie has recently taken on the role as the Inventors Room Leader and is showing amazing potential supporting the children with their final year and nursery before their big transition to school.

Vickie is so fun, friendly and outgoing we love her outbursts of singing which the children all enjoying joining in with. 'Cauliflowers fluffy' is a overall favourite!

Lauren is such a fun, loveable character with lots of ideas and exciting ways to make the day fun, she has grown in confidence so much since re-joining the nursery and spreading her positivity around all the rooms across the whole nursery.

Happy Easter to all of our families, Niki and Sue our chefs, have been busy making a selection of very cute cupcakes for our parents and carers to take with them. We are very proud of Niki and Sue who work tirelessly ensuring our children have a very nutritious and delicious variety of foods during each day. Children have lovely birthday cakes on birthdays and Niki and Sue also cater for our events such as our Summer Party and Christmas Party for our families.
