Last week, as part of their superhero topic, learning in Reception was inspired by Supertato 🦸🥔 This week, the children have been exploring the story of Superworm 🪱 and even made their very own wormery! What fantastic hands-on learning and discovery 🌱

From budgets to bearded dragons ... a group of year 5 girls had a great day at Bromley High School GDST today as part of their ‘Future Girls Network’

🧸✨ Teddy Bear Picnic Fun! ✨🧸

We loved welcoming our new Reception children to our Teddy Bear Picnic! There were lots of smiles, exploring and chatting as the children settled in and played together. 💛

After plenty of play, everyone enjoyed story time with Owl Babies 🦉 before finishing with a delicious biscuit from Mr Nourish⁠ 🍪

A lovely afternoon getting to know our newest little learners — we can’t wait to see them again! 🌟

Wow! What a fantastic first week back at school Reception had. The children were really engaged with their topic on Superheroes. Their focus text this week was Supertato. They learned about using speech bubbles in writing and conjunctions.

Year 3 have been busy designing and creating their very own vehicles of the future! 🚀 From eco-friendly transport to super-speedy travel machines, they combined everything they’ve learned to imagine how we might explore the world tomorrow. 🌎💡

Last Friday the children who have been selected as being excellent role models of our ‘Be kind’ school rule enjoyed a Mr Nourish biscuits outside.

Today was the turn of our Lacrosse team to represent the school at the South Regional POP Lacrosse Finals.

The team played brilliantly against some excellent opponents and finishing 4th in the group stage to qualify for the knockout stage.

Unfortunately they came short in the Quarter Final to the eventual winners Honeywell.

However they have done themselves and the school proud! Thank you to the parents that made the trip to Guildford to support!

From gravity-defying styles to colourful creations our pupils truly embraced the challenge for Crazy Hair Day!

A big thank you to families for the creativity, hairspray, patience, and bravery involved in this morning’s preparations. We’ve seen everything from rainbow spikes and popcorn boxes to designs that left staff wondering, “How is that even staying up?” 😄

Most importantly, there were lots of smiles, laughter, and fantastic school spirit throughout the day. Well done to everyone who took part — you certainly made today one to remember!
