Last week, we hosted a transition event for our new Year 7 families who will be joining the Bishop Justus community. Attendees heard from the Headteacher, Head of Year, Sixth Form students, and current Year 7 students, who provided a comprehensive overview of the school and what to expect in September.
The students had the opportunity to meet one another and took part in icebreaker activities facilitated by members of the Senior Leadership Team. It was a highly successful event, and we very much look forward to welcoming our new students in September!

π HOT WEATHER! π
The weather forecast for next week indicates temperatures exceeding 30Β°C. In light of this, students will not be required to wear blazers, jumpers, or ties during the week commencing 22nd June through to 26th June. We will continue to monitor the forecast and provide an update if this arrangement needs to be extended.
Please ensure that students bring a refillable water bottle to school each day. Students will be able to refill their bottles before school, during break time, at lunchtime, and after school. However, refilling will not be permitted during lesson time. Your child may wish to bring in some sun cream as well especially on PE days.
We ask for your support in reminding students that any disruptive behaviour, including water fights or misuse of water bottles, will not be tolerated and will result in appropriate sanctions.
Thank you for your continued support in maintaining the high standards and routines that enable our students to thrive.

A lovely piece in the Sevenoaks Chronicle highlighting one of our favourite Trust events of the year! πΏ
For the 9th year running, Cudham C of E Primary School has hosted our Darwin Day celebrations - bringing together children from across our Trust to explore science in a truly special setting. With Bishop Justus Church of England School leading engaging activities and pupils learning together, itβs a brilliant example of our schools working as one community.
All set in a truly unique locationβ¦ including the very pond where Charles Darwin carried out his early experiments πΈπ±

π’ Careers Speed Networking Event π’
We have an exciting opportunity for volunteers to come into the school and work with a range of students in short 5-10 minute sessions in our Careers Speed Networking Event.
Our students value the opportunity to engage with volunteers to find out about their careers, helping them to consider their options of the future. We would especially love for Bishop Justus Alumni to share their wisdom with our current students. If you are an ex-student yourself, you will understand that having the chance to meet people from the world of work can help you to make important decisions about your future.
If you believe you can help us, please do not hesitate to contact our careers department who would love to give you more information or confirm your attendance!
