I am a passionate and engaging Art Teacher (BA Fine Art & QTS/PGCE) who is committed and dedicated to promoting the education of young people. With experience in teaching: Art, Photography and DT/Textile (garment construction ) having completed a HND in Fashion Design Technology at London College of Fashion too. I am therefore able to teach a rich diversity of making procedures whether it’s painting through to print making, digital processes and sewing/pattern cutting. I have taught across all Key Stages up to A Level and worked in both grammar and comprehensive schools. I am able to differentiate my teaching for students of varied abilities including SEN. I am presently teaching at a Grammar School in Surrey. One of the many key concepts in Art & Design is Cultural Understanding. I am able to assist pupils to explore and develop their personal views on their culture and society when teaching a rich programme of study which integrates Critical and Contextual Studies.
