I’m often asked if I can “fix” lip filler that’s gone wrong — but the truth is, when filler hasn’t been placed correctly to begin with, it usually cannot be corrected by adding more.

Trying to fix bad work with even more filler typically leads to:
– more distortion
– more migration
– and results no one is happy with

🔍 For this reason, I never recommend correcting poor lip filler with additional product. My professional approach is always the same:
👉 Dissolve first. Start fresh. Create a clean canvas.
That’s how we achieve safe, beautiful, long-lasting results.

However… on very rare occasions, there are exceptions.

This case was one of them — a fellow practitioner who fully understands the process, knows the limitations, and recognised that in some situations we can improve the appearance of misplaced filler without dissolving first.
