Happy Feet Childcare are expanding again!

We are advertising for the following roles from 19/10/2026

One Early Years Practitioner (experienced Level 3 minimum) to join us as a flexible worker across the rooms

Location: Bromham, Wiltshire
Position: Early Years Practitioner (Full-time / Permanent)
Hours: 3 x days 7.45-17.15
Salary: £13.71 level 3 and £15 p/h level 5
Start Date: Oct - closing date for applications is Fri 18th Sept

About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
*Provide a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for all children.
*Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
*Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
*Observe and record children’s progress to support their individual development.
*Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education.

We’re looking for someone who is:

*Qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare
*Experienced in working within an early years setting.
*Knowledgeable and confident in implementing the EYFS and safeguarding policies.
*Passionate about early childhood development and creating a positive learning environment.
*A great communicator and team player with a caring, can-do attitude.

We are also looking for a lunch time supervisory assistant who can support our little ones with eating. Qualifications such as childcare related/ first aid are not essential but preferred.

Location: Bromham, Wiltshire
Position: lunch time supervisory assistant x 2
Salary: minimum wage.
Start Date: Aug/Sept - closing date for applications is 31st May

We are also interested in finding qualified practitioners who could provide adhoc bank work

We really don’t know how to thank Kai’s parents for their incredible kindness and generosity. ❤️ it’s taken me a few days to recover and plan a thank you x

The beautiful flowers would have been more than enough. The thoughtfully chosen gluten-free and dairy-free cakes for the staff and children would have been more than enough. The lovely wooden plaque, with a permanent review that we can proudly keep in the Hub, would have been more than enough!

Then there were the beautiful handmade cards, each filled with such personal and heartfelt words for Kai’s key staff, they truly melted our hearts. And as for giving my family and I a voucher too…that was beyond anything we could ever have expected. We are so incredibly grateful.

It is the loveliest feeling to know that what we do is appreciated. Yes, we have cared for Kai for four years. We have watched him grow, nurtured him, helped his confidence bloom and seen him form such strong bonds and relationships…but his family has given so much to us too.

During those four years, Happy Feet has grown from a small, home-based setting into a much larger nursery, bringing new premises, more staff and lots of change. Kai’s family embraced every step of that journey and supported us throughout it all.

The relationships we form with parents and carers are so important to us because you become part of our extended Happy Feet family. When I first started Happy Feet, my aim was always to care for and support the whole family, not only the child. What I never expected was for so many of our families to return that same care and support to me.

I am often overwhelmed by the number of families who check in on me, offer practical help, share contacts or advice, or simply take a moment to say thank you. It means far more than you could ever realise.

To Kai’s family “thank you” for your beautiful gifts, your incredibly thoughtful words and, most importantly, for trusting us with your wonderful boy for the past four years. It has been a genuine privilege to watch him grow, and you will always be part of our Happy Feet family. 👣❤️
