Close to a motorway Junction, and a large supermarket as one exit makes this a busy roundabout (as you’ll see in the clip).

This clip takes us from Fender Lane (Moreton) towards Bidston and Birkenhead. Even once you’ve left the roundabout there’s still more work to be done.

We are only human, and we all make mistakes.

The important thing is to accept this and look for the fix/improvement. Whether it’s during a reverse or forward driving adjustments may be needed and that’s ok, it’s part of driving we are constantly making changes to plans, positions, signals and other things throughout a drive.

After dealing with B&Q roundabout heading to all docks you then have to deal with Poulton Bridge roundabout.
An awkward shaped roundabout which makes it even more important to follow your ‘Lean Left’ action when turning right to show others you intend to leave at the next exit. Try to think of your road position like body language people will read and anticipate your actions based on the position/speed of your car and then your indicator or others signals confirm your actions.

Turning right onto a dual carriageway is a challenge. This example shows when a central reservation is narrow and you have to make the turn through the gap in the central reservation in 1 action making sure we have no effect on 4 lanes of traffic!

Also traffic can park along Leasowe Road so be ready for multiple lane changes.

A popular roundabout on both Upton and Wallasey test routes. Here we’re following roadsigns towards ‘M53’ heading from Bidston and leading towards B&Q roundabout.

There’s no one ‘correct’ method to reverse parallel park, but I feel the PMA Way is a good introduction to how it works and what needs to happen.
