A few new additions have been keeping these little hands very busy! 💛✨

We’ve been getting creative with our new glitter glues, and sticking colourful shapes to our pictures, and then more fun exploring our new sensory toys.

It’s always super exciting being first to investigate the new stuff! 😁

Uh-oh! Looks like somebody's been eating far too much chocolate... 🍫😄

Luckily, our little toothbrushing experts were on hand to give these smiles a really good scrub! 🪥✨

A fun way to talk about looking after our teeth and why a good brush twice a day is so important. 💛

We spent the day with our lovely colleagues from across the Sunny Days family, catching up, sharing ideas, learning together and had a lot of fun while we were at it!

Days like these are a really important part of what we do. They give us the chance to refresh our training, share ideas, learn from one another and makes sure we're all in the best place to give the children the best possible experience when we're back in our settings.

We had a brilliant day and came away with lots of ideas to bring back to Broadstone. 💛

And just like that… our Class of 2026 have officially graduated! 🎓💛

We honestly can't believe how quickly the time has gone. It has been such a privilege to watch you grow into the kind, funny, confident and curious little people you are today.

We've done everything we can to help you feel ready for big school, and although we'll miss you terribly, we know you're more than ready for everything that's ahead.

Good luck, Class of 2026. We can't wait to hear all about your new adventures. 💛

There was only ever going to be one winner in this game… and it definitely wasn't the staff! 💦😂

The children had an amazing time with water balloons and the water tuff tray, but the biggest excitement came when they got hold of the water bottles and turned their attention to us! 😆

The children wanted to make their own play dough... so we gave them the ingredients and let them get stuck in! 😄

And as you can see, that’s exactly what they did!! 😆💛

You don’t always need paper to practise your drawing skills! 😄🎨

The children decided to get creative using the water from the tuff tray, and the nursery fence as their canvas. They had lots of fun comparing their creations before they magically disappeared and it was time to start all over again! 🤩✨

We had a lovely visit from BCP’s Road Safety team last week 🚦😊

The children learned all about staying safe near roads, using crossings properly, and what traffic lights mean – with lots of chatting and joining in along the way.

It’s always great when learning is this fun and hands-on! A big thank you to the team for coming to visit us 💛

Sadly, this big old tree had to be taken down in the garden… but the children are thrilled to bits with the stump it left behind for them to play on! 😄🌳

Since then, it’s been a stage, a table, a pirate ship, a shop, base of operations 👀… pretty much whatever they’ve needed it to be that day. 😅

We’ve been busy making our very own fruit rockets – lots of chopping, stacking, and a good bit of taste-testing along the way 😄

A fun (and very tasty!) way to explore different fruits – and they didn’t hang around for long once they were ready! 😅💛
