We understand that the summer holidays can be both an enjoyable and challenging time for parents and carers, particularly when balancing work, childcare and family life. To support families over the summer period, we have put together a range of resources, practical advice, and signposting to local and national services, which are highlighted in the attached newsletter.

We have raised an amazing £683 so far - more donations before the big event are most welcome!

📢 Big Changes to Free School Meals for 2026/27! 🍏

The Government is expanding Free School Meals access for families on Universal Credit starting this September.

⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE: Because the rules are changing, EVERYONE currently receiving Free School Meals must reapply to keep their eligibility for the new school year.

The new system splits eligibility into two groups:
🔹 Eligible Targeted: Households on Universal Credit earning £7,400 or less per year. (These children also secure extra Pupil Premium funding for our school!)
🔹 Eligible Expanded: Households on Universal Credit earning over £7,400 per year. (Entitled to Free School Meals).

Don't delay! We strongly recommend applying online as early as possible so your application is sorted before the new term starts.
