Our Reception children had a wonderful visit to Waterman’s House! The children were so excited to share their adapted stories with the residents and confidently answered their questions. It was a lovely opportunity to build connections across generations, and the smiles in the room said it all! 😊 We are so proud of how beautifully the children represented our school — well done, Reception! 🌟

Although some of our children didn’t attend the Hooke Court Residential, that certainly didn’t stop them getting stuck in! Over the last couple of days, they’ve been busy enjoying Roman-themed activities, creating these amazing shields and practising their Roman marching. Fantastic effort and creativity all round!

📚✨ We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day in school today! It was lovely to see so many creative costumes and the children’s enthusiasm for books and reading. We were also delighted to welcome residents from our local care home, who joined us while the children shared stories and read to them. It was a very special experience for everyone involved. Thank you to all families for helping make the day so memorable! 📖

Today, our amazing Reception class wowed the school and brought smiles to the nursing home with their dress rehearsal for their Let’s Celebrate Quest! 🌟 They’ve worked so hard and are now super excited to share their special performance with parents tomorrow. We can’t wait for you to join us and celebrate together! 💫

What an amazing day at our BFS Christmas Lapland Dash! 🎄 Our incredible pupils raised a whopping £4,246 to support our school community! 👏✨ A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated — you’ve helped fund new learning resources for our children. Special congratulations to our lucky pupil who won the Toy Hamper!
