Fighter of the Week!

A huge well done to Noah in Year 5, who was awarded “Fighter of the Week” at his MMA club, Gorillas!

Noah was incredibly proud to receive the award, which recognised his hard work on the pads, determination, great listening and, most importantly, never giving up.

What a fantastic achievement — well done, Noah! 👏💪

We are delighted to introduce our Senior Student Leadership Team for this academic year.

Head Boy - Luc T
Head Girl - Florence R
Deputy Head Boy - Teddy R
Deputy Head Girl - Alba W

These exceptional students will play a vital role in representing the views of their peers, promoting pupil voice, and helping to shape key decisions across our school community. They will work closely with staff to ensure that students’ ideas, opinions and experiences are heard and valued.

In addition, our leadership team will support the planning and delivery of whole-school events, act as positive role models, and help create opportunities that enrich school life for everyone. Please see their first school community event - Harvest Food collection for Corfe Mullen food bank. We will start collecting on 5th October to 9th October please send your children in with food items that we can donate such as tinned products, pasta, rice etc.

Congratulations to all of our Senior Student Leaders. We wish you every success in your new roles! We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make throughout the year.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Cross Country Success! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our Cross Country Team headed to Canford School for the first event of the season!

We took four teams of pupils competing in the Year 5/6 boys, Year 5/6 girls, Year 7/8 boys and Year 7/8 girls races. Everyone gave it their all in some very warm conditions, and we are incredibly proud of their effort and determination.

A huge congratulations to our Year 5/6 girls team, who finished in an impressive 3rd place with 53 points!

We also had some fantastic individual performances, including:
⭐ 3rd place in the Year 5/6 boys race
⭐ 6th place in the Year 5/6 girls race
⭐ 8th place in the Year 7/8 boys race

What a brilliant start to the season! We’re already looking forward to the next event in a couple of weeks.

What a fantastic Art Quest in Y5 today! This term, the children have been exploring the theme of identity through art, learning how artists can use their work to express who we are and what makes us unique. The children have been developing their sketching skills and learning to draw eyes, noses and mouths with incredible precision and attention to detail. There were some truly outstanding pieces of work today, and it was wonderful to see the care, creativity and concentration that went into each one. We are so proud of the progress they are making and the confidence they are showing as young artists. What a talented bunch!

What a fantastic time Y5 had at Butcher’s Coppice! The children had an amazing day taking part in archery, axe throwing, crate stacking, rock climbing and so much more! The cave bus was a particular highlight too! It was wonderful to see new friendships being formed and such lovely examples of teamwork, encouragement and supporting one another throughout the day. What a lovely year group we have! We are so proud of them all and the way they embraced every challenge with such enthusiasm.

Some of our KS3 students have been sorting out the lost property that we still have from last year.

Please see the photographs below of the coats that we have - there are also lots of PE jumpers and other pieces of uniform.

Ask your child to come to the main office to have a look for their belongings if you recognise anything or they have lost anything.

Please note: any unclaimed belongings will be donated to charity after the 18th September so that we can make space for this year's lost property.
