🌟 Welcome Back! 🌟

What a wonderful first day back at school! It was lovely to welcome everyone back, and Mr Brown certainly settled everyone’s nerves with a fantastic assembly and a beautiful story for the pupils. 📖✨

The children then settled into their lessons with ease and it was wonderful to see them getting back into their routines so happily.

With the sunshine out, break and lunchtime were enjoyed outside, with plenty of fresh air, laughter and smiles all round! ☀️😊

A fantastic start to the new school year — we are looking forward to all the exciting things still to come!💙

Celebrating achievement that goes beyond the expected.

We are delighted to share the latest results from pupils at Wellesley Haddon Dene.

-In Arithmetic, 65% of pupils achieved Greater Depth or Greater Depth Plus.
-Across both Arithmetic and Reading, 90% of pupils are at the expected standard or above.

Behind every figure is a pupil who has grown in confidence, strengthened their skills and been encouraged to achieve more. These results reflect the hard work of our children, the expertise of our teachers and the individual support at the heart of our school.

🌟 We Are Proud to Announce Our Gold National President’s Award! 🏅

We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the Gold National President’s Award by the English Schools’ Swimming Association in recognition of our outstanding commitment to swimming across the school.

At Wellesley Haddon Dene, every child, from Nursery through to Year 6, enjoys swimming lessons once a week throughout the entire year. We firmly believe that swimming is an essential life skill, helping children develop confidence, resilience, fitness, and, most importantly, water safety.

This prestigious award reflects the dedication and passion of our exceptional swimming teachers, who inspire, encourage, and support every pupil to achieve their very best in the pool. Their enthusiasm and expertise are at the heart of our successful swimming programme.

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their hard work and achievements, and we thank our wonderful swimming team for making this recognition possible.

🌟 Huge Congratulations! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that this talented young lady in Yr5 has successfully secured a place in the brand-new London Pulse Emerging Netball Programme!

After attending the trials, she earned her place against an outstanding field of over 700 participants. This is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of her hard work, dedication, talent, and determination.

Everyone at Wellesley Haddon Dene is immensely proud of you. We can’t wait to see what the future holds as you continue your netball journey.

Holiday Club Fun! ☀️🎨⚽🏊

Another fantastic day at Holiday Club filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun! Our children enjoyed a great mix of arts and crafts, a variety of sports, and finished the day with lots of fun in the pool.💦

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for their enthusiasm, care, and hard work in making every day such a memorable experience for the children. We couldn’t do it without you! 😘
