We’re delighted to celebrate Said, our Industry Liaison Officer for Built, Engineering and Automotive, who was named Careers Professional of the Year for the Thanet district at this year’s Kent Education Awards. 🏆

Said plays an important role in helping our students explore their options, build connections with employers and discover opportunities for their future.

Aaron, an Adult Automotive student at EKC Broadstairs College started his career as a painting and decorator, but decided that wasn't for him. After helping a friend with his automotive business, Aaron decided he wanted to pursue the industry further.

After you've accepted your offer on Kent Choices and received your letter in the post, it's time to enrol at the College on the date and time listed on your letter.

You'll need to bring:
✅ Proof of Maths and English exam results
✅ Email and telephone numbers of two next of kin
✅ Legal document with your full name and date of birth
✅ National Insurance number

We visited the kitchens to meet our Adult Cookery evening course learners.👩‍🍳

They told us the course has been a great way for them to unwind after a busy day at work, meet new people, and pick up practical new skills in the kitchen. They’ve especially enjoyed sharing their creations after lesson with their families. 💗
