🏃‍♀️🏅 SPORTS DAY REMINDER! 🏅🏃‍♂️

Our Sports Day events begin this week, and we can’t wait to cheer on all of our amazing children! 🎉

Please make sure you check your child’s letters, emails, and school newsletters for details of when their year group will be participating.

Don’t forget to send your child in with everything they need for a fun and active day, including suitable PE kit, trainers, a water bottle, and sun protection if needed. ☀️💧

We look forward to welcoming families and celebrating a fantastic week of teamwork, determination, and sporting success. Good luck to everyone taking part! 🌟

Welcome back!💫

We hope everyone has settled back in after the break and has been enjoying the first week of Term 6☀️ It’s been wonderful to see our school buzzing with smiles, learning and laughter once again!

🌟 Our Big Question this term is:

“Is it better to adapt or stay the same?”

Through our learning, we’ll be exploring how people, animals, places, and even ourselves respond to change. We’re looking forward to some thoughtful discussions and exciting discoveries along the way!

Small steps for big minds🧠💛

This Mental Health Awareness Week, our children have shared what mental health means to them and how they stay happy and healthy! Whether it’s playing sports, reading a book, or just getting outside, every little bit helps🙌🏽

Today at Bromstone, we have celebrated the life and remarkable legacy of David Attenborough, who turns 100 today. A truly extraordinary man, he has witnessed immense change throughout his lifetime and has used his voice and influence to bring the wonders of nature into our homes, while tirelessly campaigning to protect our planet and raise awareness of the damage being done to the environment.

For our May Community Champion, we are supporting the Opal Play Scheme at Bromstone Primary School 🥳🎓🍎🌎🌱

‘The impact of OPAL play across our school has been significant. Through the OPAL approach, we have seen improvements in pupils’ physical health, confidence, and resilience. Children are more willing to take positive risks, collaborate with peers of different ages, and engage in imaginative and creative play. Behaviour incidents during playtimes have reduced, social relationships have strengthened, and pupils are returning to class more settled, ready to learn, and are emotionally regulated. The increased physical activity has also contributed to better overall wellbeing and supports healthy lifestyle habits. The funding will be used to provide the children within our school suitable clothing for example waterproof clothing, puddle suits, wellington boots and welly racks. Your support will enhance the children’s play further as they will be able to play comfortably in all weathers.’
