I have experience in working with young people with additional learning needs, those in care, and a vast variety of ages! I can tutor almost all subjects up to GCSE (apart from modern foreign languages). I left school with ten GCSE's and a couple of a levels, one of which was in English Literature, the other in Politics. For my a levels, I had the most glorious tutor. She nurtured my ability, show
ed so much care and I still have contact with her now. After this I began a degree in Environmental Sciences, which was nothing short of awesome, the field trips rocked! After this I had a few years of office based work
which looking back, gave me skills in logistics and effective management of an enormous filing system.. it was fun! Then I returned to education, obtaining my second degree in Digital Media, then I had my daughter, and after this my teaching qualification and a City and Guilds in Photography. A few years after I then gained my swimming coach qualification too. and Arts Award training. And now am studying for my Masters. In short, I could not imagine a phase of my life without education. It is my passion. And a job spent teaching and imparting that information to others feels like a gift. I started teaching English Language and Literature, swiftly moved into Maths and over the last few years have had the joy of teaching sciences, humanities, 11+, media, photography, sports science, arts, along side helping with adults teaching qualifications and masters degrees. I really love teaching!
