And we are back! We have welcomed back lots of our lovely children today! All of our school children smashed their first day back at school 🫶 Today we have spent the morning at the farm, enjoyed lots of rainy water play, and made sensory bottles after school 🌈

A more local day today. We enjoyed a park crawl to not one but two local parks, where we enjoyed a picnic and a play! One little person managed to rollerskate most of the way there and then the whole way home 🤣

The children have also enjoyed their favourite home activity, pond dipping. They found 3 frogs and 2 water snails! We observed them for a short while before carefully releasing them back in to their habitat! 🐸

The famous lego trolley has also been enjoyed so much this summer. Each compartment is categorized 😆 We have even had a titanic replica built by my boat mad boys!

The older children (and myself🤣) tried out our athletics at jumpin! Everyone persevered when faced with challenging obstacles! We went armed with lots of fluids and a bag of cool cloths and ice packs to keep cool! 🧊

A memorable day down by the river with our friends 🫶 The children had a great time floating boats, magnet fishing, actual fishing with nets (successfully!) , finding treasure, making waterfalls, swimming, ropes swinging and exploring! We had many hours of fun and no one wanted to leave 🙈🙈 We have been lucky enough to be joined by our big helper lily! The children love it when lily comes out on our adventures. She has been a great help and the children all look up to her as she is a great role model 🥰

Another sunny day means another beach trip 😎 We had some great waves today 🌊 the children spent ages jumping the waves, building a digger track and we did a final stop to go crab fishing 🦀 The girls wanted to bring home some pebbles to decorate so that just what we did!

We enjoyed a sunny stroll around tilgate this morning 🌞 This afternoon we headed to the cinema to enjoy the new minions film. Everyone sat beautifully through the film, so I think it was well needed after our tiring morning at tilgate 😆

We took the day a little slower today after a busy week being out n about! The children enjoyed freeplay for the first part of the morning, getting creative with the brio track, magnatiles and lego. The girls also enjoyed making some colourful butterflies 🦋 We then enjoyed an icecream at the park before heading to watch a magic show to finish our lunch! The children have also enjoyed making boats to float on to pool out of lego and magnatiles and seeing how well they float 🚢
