Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all of your supportive messages, follows, well wishes and the overwhelming amount of enquiries since our announcement post. 🤍
As a small local business, this truly means the world to us. So, now let us tell you a little more about Dots & Tots…
Dots & Tots was created from a shared passion for giving children something truly special — a home-from-home nursery where childhood can be authentic, adventurous and full of wonder. 💛
We believe children learn best when they are given the freedom to play, explore, question, take safe risks and discover the world around them. Our approach is rooted in real-life experiences, from baking and gardening to caring for animals, getting stuck into messy play and exploring the great outdoors. 🌱🐾
We want children to develop more than just knowledge. We want them to grow in confidence, independence, resilience and curiosity, while feeling safe, secure, listened to and genuinely valued.
At Dots & Tots, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We want to truly get to know every child — their little personalities, interests, strengths and quirks — and work closely with families and our wider community, alongside specialist professionals, to give every child the support and opportunities they need to thrive. 🌈
Most importantly, we want to bring back the magic of an authentic childhood — where play matters, imagination is encouraged, adventures are celebrated and learning happens naturally through meaningful experiences.
We want our nursery to be a place where children can get muddy, be curious, make mistakes, try again, laugh loudly, dream big and simply be themselves. 🌿✨
