We are busy getting school ready to welcome you all on Monday.

Just a reminder of timings - all new starters (Y7 and Y12), please arrive at reception ready for registration to start at 8.50am.

For all those returning after the summer break (Y8/9/10/11 & 13), we'll see you bright and shiny ready to start P2 at 10.10am.

At Churston, we are fortunate to be part of a supportive and engaged school community, and it is always uplifting to hear positive feedback from our families.

We know that a great education is about far more than exam results; it is about helping young people to grow in confidence, develop their talents and feel valued and supported throughout their time at school. When parents tell us that they can see that impact in their children, it is something we are incredibly proud of.

It is always a pleasure to hear from families about their experiences at Churston, especially when they reflect so positively on the start of their child’s secondary school journey.

One parent spoke warmly about the “approachability and kindness of the staff” and the “fun, exciting and friendly” atmosphere that has helped their child settle so well.

Comments like these mean a great deal to us because they highlight something that is at the heart of Churston: providing a truly holistic education that nurtures confidence, wellbeing, curiosity and personal growth alongside academic success.

What a fantastic celebration of creativity, talent and performance at this summer's Performing Arts Showcase!

Students from across the school took to the stage to present work developed through their lunchtime clubs, including drama, dance, music and a wide range of performance pieces.

This was a new event for Churston, allowing students opportunities to showcase some impressive achievements beyond school, sharing successes in LAMDA, dance festivals and national theatre competitions.

It was a real pleasure to see families and friends enjoying the performances and supporting our students as they showcased their confidence, imagination and dedication. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the breadth of talent within our Churston community.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped create such a positive and inspiring evening.

Hearing such positive feedback from our families is incredibly rewarding and a wonderful reminder of the impact that the Churston experience can have.

We are particularly proud when parents highlight not only the breadth of opportunities available to our students, but also the care, encouragement and support that help them thrive throughout their time with us.
