With this cold weather arriving, we have been learning all about cold cold ice. The children have been fascinated and enjoyed touching it and watching what happens when you hold the ice in your warm hand. The children have enjoyed making careful observations as to whether the temperature outside is warm enough to melt the ice. We are looking forward to more ice exploration next week!

Is it Christmas yet? The Pre-School children have been listening to stories that help them think about what they love to do in the lead up to Christmas and about Christmas. They have tried very hard not to think about what they want! Some of the ideas they have shared are the decorations, seeing Christmas lights, the Christmas tree, presents and finding Santa! Afterwards, the children have drawn their ideas and aren't they just fantastic!

We were so excited to try out the new yellow brick road in Reception's garden this week with our bikes. It was a lot of fun!

Pre-School enjoyed supporting Children in Need in their non-uniform today. They all looked fantastic and were very interested in finding out what was important about today!

It's raining, It's pouring, the puddles were calling!
Pre-School jumped, splashed, ran, laughed and swept all together. Puddles are a great play opportunity whilst developing important physical strength for the children but best of all they are a whole lot of fun!
