🐬✨ Year 5 Dolphins have had a fantastic start to the year! ✨
We have had lots of fun working as a team through some exciting team-building activities, including building spaghetti and marshmallow towers! 🍝☁️🏗️ We have also been getting creative with lots of fantastic artwork. 🎨
We have now begun our Maths learning and started our first writing unit, creating autumnal descriptive scenes inspired by the sights, sounds and atmosphere of autumn. 🍂🖊️
Well done, Year 5 Dolphins, for such a brilliant start to the year! We are so excited for all the learning and adventures ahead! 🌟🐬

Our year one children have settled beautifully into their new classroom this week. We’ve been exploring The Colour Monster and using it to talk about our feelings, create our own colourful monsters, and share what makes us feel calm, happy, or excited. The children have loved getting stuck into their new learning spaces- building stories in the dolls house, working together on the train track, and beginning to learn some simple Makaton signs to support communication.

As we approach a new academic year here at Furzeham, and as last year’s Shrimps are starting in reception, we’re delighted to now be welcoming some new faces to Fledglings!
