Brynhyfryd Flying Start Brynhyfryd Flying Start Playgroup is FREE for children aged 2-3 years living within a Flying Start postcode area. We are C.S.S.I.W.

We also offer dedicated Welsh Medium setting, wrap around care for children over 3 years of age and private paying parents and carers. The playgroup is situated within Brynhyfryd Primary School and prepares the children for their transition into school. We provide an environment which is nurturing, stimulating and supportive to both children and their parents/carers. We have fully qualified and tr

ained staff who operate a Key Worker system, to provide parents and carers with a dedicated contact person for their child throughout their time at the playgroup. We offer quality childcare through fun activities both indoor and outdoor. These help the children in all areas of their development. registered and have achieved Quality Assurance mark with Wales PPA. We are also currently working towards our Healthy Pre-School Award. We offer an open door policy for parents/carers to visit and see the setting, so come along and have a chat with us.

Sadly after 16 years Brynhyfryd flying start has had to close we wish our staff and children all the best for the future.

Disappointingly we have had a break in at the playgroup this week. Criminal damage has been done and the police are currently investigating the crime. We have clear CCTV footage of the person's carrying out the act and we look forward to the police resolving the matter shortly. We are sad this has happened in our community as we all want Briton Ferry to be a safe place to live.
