From baby bunnies this morning to bunny biscuits this afternoon, the children have had a busy day.

Today is a day of democracy.
The polling station opened early for the children to vote on their choice of snack.
Let’s hope the counting doesn’t take too long as it will soon be time for lunch 🤣

Mini Glastonbury at Apple Tree today. We have tents, music, bubbles and a disco ball, what more could we want 🤗

We had a surprise delivery today.
Thank you so much to Laura’s Dad for making us this amazing mobile coat stand.
We were previously using coat hangers which many of our children struggled with, this will allow them to be independent.

Thanks to Nanny Sue for coming in and running an activity with the children.
Today they have been using wild flowers to create a lion’s mane.

Thanks to the generosity of MyDentist Emerson's Green, all of our children will be taking home a dental goodie bag.
This week we will be running lots of fun activities promoting the importance of good oral hygiene.
Thanks also to Ellis’ Mum for organising.

Our activity bags have been updated and are being sent home with the children.
We have Bramley and Pippin in our sleepover bags, ingredients for chocolate chip muffins in our cooking bag and lots of fun activities in our maths bag.
We hope the children enjoy them.

I think our lovely builders are feeling the pressure today. We’ve told the children that puppy dog eyes will make them build faster 🤣
It’s all looking amazing and we can’t wait to try it out.

The end of an era 😢

We are so lucky to have Matthew Richards from Engage & Immerse join us every Wednesday. The children get so much out of these fun packed music sessions.
Listening to and creating music benefits the children in so many ways. It can lower blood pressure, develop children’s resilience and promote a sense of well being. It improves memory, focus and concentration skills as children are inspired to listen to, follow and tap out simple beats, rhythms and patterns in the music they are immersed in.
