Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed learning how to check their scooters are working before improving their skills and building up confidence scooting around an obstacle course.

Year 3 had an amazing trip to the Roman Baths. They had a morning of workshops in the education centre; finding out more about Roman civilisation Everyone had a chance to do a range activities related to roman life that really made history come alive. Our children even practiced archaeology in a cellar beneath the streets of Bath!

ASPENS brought the smoothie bike to E-ACT Bannerman road community academy. Year 5 and Y6 created their own smoothies using beetroot, pineapple, spinach to name a few. They also chose the fruit for their teachers!

We are taking 15 children on a residential trip in April and David who runs the sessions came to school to meet previous attendees. We made apple juice using our new apple press donated to us from Shallowford Farm.
