I believe that maths success is available to every child. My tuition focuses on building confidence, securing essential foundation skills and helping pupils develop the ability to apply their mathematical knowledge to problem solving.

I am an experienced teacher with 26 years of teaching experience. I am:

✔️ Experienced in supporting children across Primary, KS3 and GCSE

Groups are kept to a maximum of 4 pupils so that every pupil still receives individual attention and support.
🧮 CURRENT GROUPS
SATURDAYS | 10:30–11:30
🎓 Year 6/7 Maths Group
For pupils:
• Preparing for SATs in 2027
• Moving into Year 7 who would benefit from further consolidation of the Primary Mathematics Curriculum
The focus will be on securing key mathematical knowledge and skills, building fluency and developing confidence in applying maths to increasingly challenging problems.
SATURDAYS | 11:30–12:30
🎓 GCSE Foundation Maths Group
Suitable for pupils in Year 10 or Year 11 who:
• Are working towards achieving a Grade 4 or 5 on the Foundation GCSE paper
• Would benefit from strengthening their mathematical foundations
Sessions will focus on building confidence, addressing gaps in knowledge, developing fluency and practising the application of skills to GCSE-style problems.
📍 All sessions are based at my home in Saltford
Places are limited to ensure that the groups remain small and supportive.
