HerStart is coming to Manchester!

Two years ago, co&co took on Kaysha Davies as an apprentice with us. On Thursday 8th October, she'll be on the panel at Beyond Bricks, the event we've created together.

That's why this partnership means so much to us. co&co aren't just backing the idea of young women in property. They've done it, and Kaysha is proof of what happens when a business does.

Beyond Bricks is a property breakfast bringing the industry and the next generation of female talent into the same room. A career in property can mean far more than bricks and mortar. Most young women never get told that. Beyond Bricks is here to change that.

What a way to start the week 💜

Morgan Miles at The Wye Clinic is about to qualify as a Level 4 Marketing Executive, and in her words, it's a true "pinch me" moment after previously struggling in academic environments.

That's exactly what apprenticeships are for. Learning that fits around real life, with support from people who want to see you succeed.

The team and Carina are at Built To Last at the SS Great Britain today. Created by Nebula IT.

It's a day for small businesses and charities about cyber resilience, focused on what really happens when something goes wrong, not just what might.

We are a SME ourselves, so it matters to us. It matters to our apprentices too. Many of them work in roles where they look after inboxes, websites and more every day, so knowing how to spot a problem and what to do next is a real part of the job.

We'll be taking what we learn back to the team and into the support we give our apprentices.

Every course now sets out the real skills you'll build, the structure of the programme and the funding involved, in a way that finally reflects the standard of the training itself.

A huge well done to our IT tutor Andy, who swapped the classroom for the Thames this weekend. 🚣

On Saturday, Andy joined the Bristol Channel Social Rowers to take on the Great River Race in London, rowing 21 miles along the River Thames.

A serious challenge, but more importantly, all in support of Dementia Research UK.

The team made it to the finish line exhausted but very much in one piece, and raised an incredible **£1,100 in donations** along the way.

We’re very proud to have people in the Pro Apprenticeships team who are prepared to put themselves through something like this for a good cause.

Massive well done Andy, and everyone involved. 👏
