Happy Birthday Andy!

Wishing a very happy birthday to our Lead IT Tutor Andrew Brown.

When he's not being a legendary tutor, teaching apprentices how to fix a laptop lickety-split, Andy's very active. You'll often find him "shredding it" at his local park, or on a rowboat in Bristol harbour.

Andy has been training the next wave of IT professionals for years now, and he is well loved by his apprentices.

It’s amazing what can be achieved with the support of 5 cats and an endless supply of Pepsi Max.

Today is Carina’s Birthday, our founder.

10 years ago Carina decided she was fed up of apprenticeships being purely about numbers, treating people like lines on a spreadsheet and getting as many “bums on seats” as possible.

So, she started Pro Apprenticeships with a simple philosophy: when you stick to your morals and really listen to the person in front of you, when you take the time to hear their dreams and make a plan to properly support them, amazing things can and will happen.

10 years later and Carina still knows every member of staff personally; she still picks up the phone to speak to fresh applicants and calm their nerves before interviews. That’s just the type of person she is.

She’ll be jetting off for her one holiday of the year soon, and Shane, her husband, will be trying (and failing) to tear her away from her emails the whole time.

Carina, we love you, we love hearing you crack open a Pepsi Max at 10am, we love that you live for office banter, and we love that nothing is ever too much trouble for you.

We hope that you truly enjoy some time off, have a fantastic Birthday with your family, from everyone at Pro Apprenticeships.

Round three of our AI Leadership units kicks off this week. Where has the time gone?

Our first cohort has just moved into AU0011, the final unit, focused on AI delivery and organisational transformation. Watching them apply everything they've learned to real challenges in their businesses has been brilliant to see.

It's been a genuinely great group to work with, the feedback has been incredible, and we are excited to launching more cohorts this summer!
