Next week we will be sharing the story of 'The Bristol Giants'.

We will be building bridges with blocks, planks and resources, drawing maps of our community.
We will also be thinking about the people we meet and help us in our community and starting to practice for sports day.

Next week we will be finding out about countries around the world, exploring different languages, foods, music and ways of life.
We will be creating landmarks from blocks and resources and sending postcards from places we have or would like to visit.

It was lovely welcoming everyone back to preschool this week.
Next week we will be off to space, designing and creating planets, drawing maps around earth and learning about planets.

Next term we will be learning about the world around us, the local community, people and places we visit, how we travel to different places, are they near or far.
We will be exploring the world learning about different cultures, languages, foods and weathers, thinking about our planet and the impact we have on it, learning about other planets and space and thinking about the people we see everyday and the jobs they do.

When we return to preschool we will be exploring and creating maps, thinking about how people travel locally and around the world and making passports in the preschool airport!

The letter and sound will be 'K' and the Makaton signs are boat, car and plane.

We will be sharing 'Commotion in the Ocean' story next week. We will be making worry pebbles, exploring floating and sinking and creating deep sea creatures and coral reefs.

Next week we will be sharing 'Tiddler' story sack.

We will be creating and decorating sea-life creatures, making clocks and adventure stories about why we might be late and thinking about our impact on and how we can save our oceans.

Next weeks letter and sound is 'C' and the Makaton signs are shark, fish and kind.

Next week we will be sharing 'Farmyard Hullabaloo' story.
We will be creating farm animals using textures and patterns, counting and organising animals and thinking about what produce we get from the farm.

We have had a great first week back after the holidays, building dens and finding mini-beasts.
Next week we will be sharing 'The Very Selfish Crocodile', thinking about the crocodile's language, actions and impact on the other animals, using patterns and colours to create jungle animals and making binoculars to help us explore at the cemetery.

Next week the children will be taking part in the sponsor scoot.

Next weeks Makaton signs are Jungle, Lion and Elephant and the letter and sound will be 'N'.

Next term we will be learning about living creatures and the impact we have on the environment, exploring life cycles, thinking why, where, what and when to learn about living creatures and our surroundings.

We will continue to plant and grow at the allotment and recognise season change.

When we return after the Easter break we will be sharing 'Superworm' story sack.
We will be cutting and counting spider legs and threading webs, matching butterfly patterns and watching caterpillars grow.
