The first rule of music

I was 15 when my Dad took me to see this gig at the Colston Hall in 1978. Dave Sanborn in his late 30’s…some stellar names in both bands. There was about 2ft of snow to get thru and maybe no more than 30 people in the audience. But what a gig. Still remember it now.

So today’s gig I’m using the sax synth more to create a more varied programme - and starting the gig with a solo Cello feature 🙂

R.I.P David Sanborn, great saxophonist and trail blazer in jazz funk. Time for eternal rest x
