Last Wednesday evening we bid a final farewell to our amazing Year 11s at the stunning Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel for the class of 2026 Prom. The students all looked impeccable and had an evening of dancing, feasting and Karaoke! Everyone also got to play some outdoor games and get snapped in the awesome Photobooth from Photobooth Bristol. A massive shout out to the School Council (along with our wonderful Anna) who planned and organised the event, making the most of the funds raised from this year's Digifest. Thanks to all the Digi staff who helped make it happen along with the great crew at the Mercure for looking after everyone and providing the perfect buffet! Year 11 - we'll miss you all, thank you for being such superstars in your time with us!

A few misty eyed staff and students this morning as we said a final Digitech farewell (at least until Prom) to our amazing Y11 'Class of 2026' cohort. Our annual Leavers assembly, featuring the obligatory staff musical performance, Awards aplenty and Lily's - as usual - incredible Leavers video was led by Head of School Simon Jones, who led the tributes to the hard work and achievements of the students with a few wise words thrown in (hopefully you'll all remember If Not You, Who? If Not Now, When? even if you forgot 3, 2, 1, Quality Audience after Term 1 of Year 10...). While shirts and yearbooks were signed, the students were lucky enough to enjoy some sweet treats from the awesome Sweet Nelly Blue!
Year 11, you really are an incredible group of young people that we've all had immense pleasure getting to work with over the last two years. We're very proud of the people you have become and cannot wait to hear about your onward journeys. We also are really looking forward to welcoming some of you back for Post 16 in September with lots of amazing things planned, but either way we'll see a lot of you for Prom on the 1st July and for results day on Thursday 20th August.
Enjoy your Summer Year 11, you've earned it!

Last Thursday saw our amazing Y13 students sharing their Art, Media and Music work in their final Exhibition '.PNG'. Students, staff, families and the wider Digitech community descended upon the stunning in Warmley to see (and hear) the results of the cohort's boundless creativity from the past two years at Digitech. The exhibition was followed by a special Graduation ceremony for the Y13s and ended with the Y12s joining them for Post 16 Prom night. There were tears (good ones), laughter and a lot of memorable performances once the Karaoke started...
To echo the words from Colleen and Simon during the Graduation, we are all so SO proud of our Year 13s and all they have achieved with us here. Every one of them has brought so much to our community and will be greatly missed. It has been beyond a pleasure to see you develop as Creatives and as people and we are so excited for you all for the next steps in your adventures. Congrats Year 13 Class of 2026 - you are all utter legends!
A massive thank you to Andy, Phil and all at for letting us share in your incredible space and hosting us once again so warmly!

🎸🎪🎛🎶👨🎤 Aaaaand that's a wrap on Digifest 2026! Thank you to everyone that came along and supported the Y11's music festival. Aside from the fun, the music and the funds raised for Prom - the fundamental aim of teaching the students about planning and producing a live music event was fulfilled with all Year 11 Music students working amazingly hard for the weeks before, and for their shifts during, Digifest.
We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! It's been fun today looking back through the photos of your stupendous selfies, showing off your merch purchases and seeing the connection everyone had with the outstanding performers - the live acts and DJs that gave up their time to entertain us all.
Thank you to our event sponsor, BCfm Radio and to our Live Stage sponsor, JDs Guitar Setups and Repairs who helped make it possible. Heartfelt thank you to all the Digitech staff who helped with the setting up and running of the festival - the support you gave the Digifest Team was immeasurable. A gigantic standing ovation and applause for all our incredible Artists and DJs - Leyton, Eli, Natalia and Kian, all current or former Digitech Students; what talent we have brewing here! We also give flowers to the amazing Tom and Lee from Young Martyrs who blew us all away with their set, as well as Kate and Ben who joined Sam for The Acoustic Mixtape to close the festival with a bang.
We hope the Y10 Music students were taking notes and have a few ideas to bring to the table for next year when they will be bringing us Digifest 2027!
Until then, have an amazing Bank Holiday and we look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday!

We hope everyone is having a great break! We're all massively looking forward to welcoming students back on Monday. Just a reminder that Digifest Tickets are now available to all Digitech students and their families, lots have been claimed already so get yours soon so that you don't miss out!
Tickets are FREE (you can make a voluntary donation at the festival) but you DO NEED to have a ticket for entry which must be booked in advance. The link for tickets was sent out to parents via Bromcom and to students via their school emails - if you have not got this link for any reason, please email [email protected] and we can get you sorted!
The Year 11 Music students that are organising Digifest for their unit on 'Organising Live Events' are looking forward to sharing more details, including the full lineup with you next week so look out for that! Digifest is kindly sponsored by BCfm Radio and all profits from Digifest will be going towards Year 11 Prom which is currently being organised by the School Council.
