🎬 Week 7 in Studio 4! 🎬

Production continued apace this week in Studio 4 as our young filmmakers worked hard on bringing their film to life. Lots of time, attention and creativity went into designing some magnificent makeup effects and props before heading out to film their scenes.

Next week, filming will continue alongside an editing masterclass, where our filmmakers will learn how all the footage comes together to create a finished movie.

🎬 Week 7 of our Summer Term Filmmaking Classes! 🎬

Lights, camera, infection! 🧪🦠

Our Studio 2 and 3 filmmakers have officially started production on their end-of-term movie, The Infection. We made the most of the glorious sunshine this week, filming a scientists' conference in an outdoor amphitheatre.

Next week, we'll be heading indoors to create our very own science lab, complete with fizzy, bubbling experiments... what could possibly go wrong? 😱

Just some of the incredible ideas pitched by our Studio 2 & 3 filmmakers this week!

Our young creatives spent the session developing their concepts, creating pitch trailers and presenting their ideas to the group. The imagination on display was amazing – Hollywood would definitely be interested! 🌟

After some tough competition, one pitch came out on top and will now be made into a film over the coming weeks. 🏆🎥

🍿🎥⭐Week 6 at Sparks Bristol Central saw our young Studio 4 filmmakers jump straight back into action after half term and begin production on their main film for the term.

With scripts developed and plans in place, it was time to get the cameras rolling on their ambitious project. From directing scenes and operating cameras to performing on screen, everyone got stuck in and worked brilliantly as a team.

They've got just four weeks left to film, edit and complete their movies before the end of term – so it's going to be a busy few weeks ahead! We can't wait to see how their film comes together.

🎬 Week 5 at Sparks Bristol – Studio 4 🎬

This week our Studio 4 filmmakers stepped into the role of writers, directors and producers as they pitched ideas for this term’s main film project 🎥💡

They explored story structure, developed their concepts and even created trailers to sell their ideas to their fellow filmmakers ✨🍿

🎬 Studop 2/3 Week 5 at Sparks Film School Bristol Central! 🎬

This week, our Studio 2 & 3 students got stuck into editing – bringing together the masterclass films they’ve been shooting over the past few weeks. From selecting their best shots to adding music and their own personal creative touches, it’s been brilliant to see each project start to come to life ✨🎞️

After half term, it’s time for the next exciting stage… students will be developing ideas for this term’s main film project and pitching them to their fellow filmmakers before we head into production 🎥💡

We can’t wait to see what stories and ideas they come up with!

We’re so excited to launch TWO brand new week-long Animation Camps this summer at Sparks Film School Bristol Centrall! 🎞️✨

Young creators will learn how to bring stories to life through animation — including stop motion, character creation, storytelling, sound effects and editing — all while making new friends and having loads of creative fun.
