Choosing the right school for your child is a really important decision, and we know it can feel exciting, daunting and everything in between! That’s why we’d love to invite prospective Reception families to come along to one of our upcoming Open Events.

It’s a chance to have a proper look around Watermore, meet members of our team, see our learning environment and get a feel for what life at our school is really like. Most importantly, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and find out whether Watermore feels like the right place for your child.

Our Reception 2027 Open Events are:

Friday 2nd October – 9:30am
Tuesday 6th October – 2:00pm
Thursday 15th October – 6:00pm
Thursday 7th January – 9:30am

Whether Watermore is already at the top of your list or you’re only just beginning to explore your options, you’ll be made very welcome.

Come and discover a school where children can learn, belong and grow.

Sign up for one of our sessions today - https://calendly.com/watermore/reception-intake-2026-clone

Please feel free to share this post with any families who have a child due to start Reception in September 2027.

Claire here 👋🏼
As some of you know I’m one of the race directors for the Watermore RunFest and we are still in need of a few marshals for race day.

✨ We Need Your Support! ✨

Our Watermore 5k & 10K is one of the school’s biggest fundraising events — and we can’t run it without your help.
📅 When: Sunday 20th September
⏰ Time: Just over 1 hour of your day
🎉 Role: Be a marshal — cheer runners on, point them in the correct direct and keep the route safe.
🧑‍🧒 This is a family friendly job where children can join in with an adult.
👏🏻 Every pair of hands makes a huge difference for our school community.

👉 If you can help, please let me know
