This week the children have been enjoying activities based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar! ๐๐
We explored the sandpit searching for hidden fruit, practised counting by feeding the caterpillar different amounts of fruit, created our own very hungry caterpillars using pom poms, made butterfly potions, and developed our fine motor skills by making caterpillar necklaces through threading.
The children had lots of fun whilst developing their counting, creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills! ๐
Many thanks

A huge WELL DONE to some of our year sixes who are soon to be published authors. These children entered a writing competition, titled 'Silly Stories' and we have heard today that they will all be published in an anthology of stories- what an achievement!
