What a busy and exciting couple of weeks we have had in Blossom Class! After the summer break, we have been settling back into our school routines and getting stuck into lots of fun learning.

Our focus story has been The Three Little Pigs, and we have been exploring the story in lots of different ways. We have been re-enacting the story using our sensory tuff tray, exploring the different characters and parts of the story through play. We have also been busy building houses using magnetic blocks and seeing if we could make them strong enough to keep the Big Bad Wolf out!

In maths, we have been exploring sharing and ordinal language through activities linked to our story. We have been practising concepts such as first, second and third while having lots of fun learning together.

We have also been getting creative in the kitchen! We decorated cupcakes to look like little pigs and made some very tasty Big Bad Wolf pancakes.

Alongside all of our learning, we have been spending time building relationships and getting to know the new additions to Blossom Class. We have been exploring our role-play area, developing our play together and enjoying quiet moments sharing stories and books in our calm area.

It has certainly been a busy couple of weeks, but it has been wonderful to see everyone settling back into school, building friendships and relationships, and getting back into the rhythm of learning.

Well done, Blossom Class! We are so proud of you all!

Blossom Class had a fantastic time during our visit to the Super Sense sensory session yesterday! The children loved exploring the colourful lights, climbing on the soft play equipment, trying out the different types of swings, and pressing buttons to discover all the different sounds.

One of our favourite parts was immersing ourselves in the beautiful underwater projector display, which created a calming and magical atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

It was wonderful to see the children exploring with confidence, having fun, and sharing smiles and laughter with their friends. We are so proud of how well everyone joined in. Well done Blossom Class.
