The Teddy Bear Adoption Centre at kids stuff Bristol — every teddy has a name, a little “please take me home” tag and is just £1–£3.

Sometimes second-hand soft toys can look a little sad all piled together, but this makes each one feel so special 🥹

Right, because apparently my website could do with a little more organisation… and I’m not exactly the world’s most prolific marketer 😂

And just a little FYI because it’s September and I know Christmas feels VERY far away…

All my Christmas dates are already live, but so far only around 30 of you have booked onto the Christmas classes. So there are still plenty of spaces across things like ceramic Christmas baubles, wreath making, advent candle painting and more.

Basically, you’ve got a few more weeks (I think!) to book before they start selling out — and before I actually get round to properly advertising them 😂

But when I turned on my store reviews a while ago, I’ve only had 7 reviews so far 😂

Now summer’s officially over… 🍂☔️

The rainy days are here, the puddles are back and if you’ve got a day off with your little one and you’re wondering what to do, these are 5 of our favourite Bristol spots for autumn.

🌧️ Bristol Zoo Project
It gets THE BEST puddles. My little one genuinely gets sad when summer arrives and the puddles disappear 😂 Autumn is honestly one of my favourite times to go — and if you go regularly, the membership is SO worth it.

🛝 Jumpin Fun
We found this when my little one was nearly 2 and it’s been a staple ever since. We basically forget about it in the summer (sorry!) but come autumn, winter and spring, it’s back on the rotation. Toddler time on a Friday is brilliant and affordable — and it’s also been the source of lots of birthday parties this last year!

🐐 Bristol’s City Farms
We LOVE St Werburghs City Farm, but when I realise we’ve been there too many weeks in a row, we head to Windmill Hill instead 😂 Perfect for a crisp autumn morning when you want some fresh air without committing to a full day out.

🌿 University of Bristol Botanic Garden
A beautiful, peaceful little haven to explore — and especially lovely at this time of year. 🍂 Wrap up warm, embrace the weather and let them have a wander. It feels like a little escape from the city.

For those days when the rain is absolutely relentless and you’ve had enough of being outside 😂 Somewhere to properly escape the weather, explore and let little ones get hands-on.

So goodbye summer, hello puddles, muddy boots & cosy autumn days. 🍂☔️

In this beginner-friendly Gelli-Plate Printing Workshop, you’ll learn the basics of mono-printing, experimenting with layers, textures, stencils and image transfers to create your own collection of abstract prints.
