Our ongoing wellbeing sessions continued last Wednesday, bringing our ladies together once again in a safe and supportive space.

During the session, our lovely ladies shared what helps improve their mood and wellbeing, while also discussing some of the worries and challenges they are facing. These conversations provide a valuable opportunity for support, connection, and reflection.

What a fantastic Children’s Day celebration! 🌳💚

From outdoor games and family fun to meeting Shrek and receiving special gifts, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Half-Term picnic & children’s day celebration such a wonderful success. ✨📚⚽🎉

Children’s Day Picnic Celebration 🌳☀️

Today, we celebrated Children’s Day with a wonderful outdoor picnic during the Half-Term break, bringing families together for a day of fun, laughter, and connection. Children enjoyed outdoor games and activities, and were delighted to receive books and outdoor toys as gifts.

A special highlight of the day was the appearance of Shrek 💚, who brought lots of smiles, excitement, and photo opportunities for the children. His visit made the celebration even more memorable and fun.

A huge thank you to Migrant Help and Million Acts of Hope for their generous support in making this beautiful event possible. It was a meaningful day filled with joy, community spirit, and wonderful memories for everyone. ✨📚⚽💚

Making Memories Under the Spring Sun ☀️🌞

Together with our children, we visited the charming Castle Combe, where we enjoyed peaceful walks, admired the stunning scenery, and even met some beautiful horses that we got to pet 🐴. Later, we spent time at Chippenham Park and Playground and enjoyed our time together to the max, soaking up the sunshine, sharing food, and making joyful memories.

Days like this remind us how special it is to come together as a community. 💛

Today’s IKEA session was filled with warmth, learning, and community spirit! 🌿
We had a lovely chat with Barbara, exploring different courses available for our ladies — exciting opportunities for personal growth and new skills. The discussion then turned to an important topic: Dementia awareness, where we learned more about understanding and supporting those affected.
Our Q&A session with Roxanne was insightful and interactive, giving everyone the chance to ask questions and share experiences.
A heartfelt thank you to Abby Akinyemi, who once again supported our community by bringing essential items — nappies, food, and toiletries — for mums and families in need. We’re also so grateful to for their continued generosity and care. 💛

🌸 Easter Fun at Trashëgimia! 🐣
Last Saturday was filled with laughter, colour, and excitement as our children took part in a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt at Trashëgimia! 🪺✨
It was such a joy to see their smiles, laughter, and energy as they searched for hidden eggs and joined in fun games and activities. The atmosphere was truly beautiful — full of community spirit, teamwork, and happiness. 💕
A big thank you to all the families and volunteers who made this day special! 🌼

We also spent some time filling in important forms — and ended the day with fantastic news: one of our service users received her refugee status! 🎉
