🗣🎤 Calling all gigging SINGERS and/or SONGWRITERS of ANY GENRE!! Do you struggle with talking to the audience on your gigs? Unsure of what to say between songs, or how to say it? Do you feel drastically less confident about your 'speaking voice' compared with your 'singing voice'?

I am doing a masters degree in Professional Voice Studies at the moment and for my research project I am looking into the issues many singers have with speaking during gigs...ie. talking to the audience, announcing songs etc... Many many singers (myself included) have struggled with this, so I decided to do some research into it and try out some techniques to hopefully make it all a bit easier.

Your participation would be much appreciated and would entail filling in 2 short questionnaires and having a 1hr 1-1 session with me (usually charged at £44, but free in this instance!) either in-person or online. There may also be a workshop at some stage, also free of charge.

If you're interested in taking part, please comment below or DM me. Any standard or genre welcome, but you must be gigging fairly regularly.

Thanks! :)

Some thoughts on lyrics and song interpretation. You'd be surprised how many singers have no idea what they're singing about! Next time you approach a new song, why not try this approach?
