At our preschool, we believe every emotion is important 💕🌈

We support our little ones in understanding that it’s okay to feel happy, excited, sad, worried, frustrated, or overwhelmed. Helping children recognise and talk about their feelings builds confidence, resilience, and kindness towards themselves and others.

Every feeling is valid, and every child is always listened to, supported, and cared for in a safe and nurturing environment 💛✨

💙 Today we wear blue for Autism Awareness Day 💙

Today at preschool we are proudly wearing blue to raise awareness and celebrate the uniqueness of every child. We believe every child learns, grows, and shines in their own special way, and today is a lovely opportunity to promote kindness, inclusion, and understanding.

We are proud to support our amazing children and families and to remind everyone that differences should be celebrated. 💙🧩✨

🐸 Little Speckled Frogs 🐸

This week we are learning all about different life cycles! 🌱

Today we got creative and messy while exploring our “Little Speckled Frogs” theme. We used chia seeds to make a fun, bumpy pond and blended chickpeas to create soft, foamy “water.”

The children loved placing their frogs on lily pads and watching them “jump” into the pond while singing along 🐸🎶

A fantastic sensory activity that encouraged imagination, creativity, and lots of giggles! 💚

Today at preschool we are celebrating Red Nose Day with a CRAZY HAIR DAY! 🤪🎉

We can’t wait to see all the amazing, colourful, wacky and wonderful hairstyles everyone comes in with! 🌈💇‍♀️💇‍♂️

🌳 Introducing Our Donation Tree! 🌳

We are excited to introduce our Donation Tree, a wonderful way to build strong parent partnerships within our preschool community.

Each leaf on our tree shows an item that would help support the children’s learning, creativity, and play. If you are able to donate any of these items, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution—big or small—helps enrich the experiences we provide for the children.

Working together with our families helps us create the best possible environment for our little learners. Thank you for being such an important part of our preschool community! 💚

🐛🍎 The Hungry Caterpillar Fun! 🍓🦋

Last week our little learners explored a Hungry Caterpillar themed tuff tray! The children loved discovering different foods, insects, and natural materials hidden in the soil. They used tweezers and their hands to search, sort, and talk about what the caterpillar might like to eat.

This activity encouraged:
🌱 Sensory exploration
🔍 Fine motor skills
🗣️ Language and storytelling
🦋 Learning about the caterpillar’s journey to becoming a butterfly

The children especially enjoyed matching the foods and pretending to feed the hungry caterpillar! What a fun and engaging way to bring the story to life. 📚✨
