🍂 Autumn fun at Purple childcare! 🍂

This week, we've been exploring all the wonderful changes that come with the arrival of autumn. 🍄

The children enjoyed a local walk, collecting natural treasures on the way, which we then used to create an Autumn wreath! 🌳

Our preschool room had lots of fun creating a colourful handprint tree using the reds, oranges, and yellows that we see all around this season. 🍁

We've been talking lots about how the seasons change, and the children have loved noticing the signs of Autumn all around us! 🍂

We are so excited that the new term is here! We hope you all had an amazing Christmas and a happy New Year. What did you all get up to during the festive season?

We had a lovely day today with loads of activities. First, we wanted to say a massive thank you from all of the children and staff here at Purple Childcare to Brailsford Lights christmas display for switching on their lights early just for us! Our children loved it!! We then came back and had our Christmas dinner and some Christmas activities like Christmas cards and practicing their Christmas singing. All of this in their wonderful Christmas jumpers. I hope they all sleep well tonight because I know we will!

It is Christmas Jumper Day! We can't wait to see all of your children's jumpers, and I hope they're excited about the Christmas meal—I know we are!

We have some really fun things planned this Christmas season! First, we have a Christmas meal for all the children to enjoy where they can wear their favorite Christmas jumpers! Then a couple days later a Christmas Fayre where all the children and parents can enjoy Christmas activities meet Santa and so much more! Hope you're all excited!

We are going to donate to the local food bank on Monday in celebration of the harvest festival!

We hope you all had an amazing half-term. We are so excited to see everyone back and ready to have fun, learn, and grow. What did you get up to in your half-term?

We have had the most amazing spooky day here at Purple. Our children had so much fun dressing up along with all the staff, we gave all the kids their own goodie bag, had a pumpkin carving station, cookie decorating, toasted marshmallows, and had amazing hot chocolate.

Its spooky week we cant wait to show you all the fun and spooky activities we have planned for this week !!

Have you seen our new baby room? We accept babies from 9 months old up to 2 years old after that they will transition to our new toddler room. This space has been set up with fun, growing, and learning in mind.

The room includes a cosy book corner filled with a variety of books for our babies.
A soft play area with a large ball bit and different soft play activities.
A tuff tray that is always filled with different learning opportunities.
A learning table that has different activities set up each day
A lunch table to learn how to sit at a table and use cutlery.
