How’s ‘home schooling’ going? Just remember this isn’t like school, it’s so different for everyone. I was a teacher for 15 years and teaching your children at home under these circumstances is COMPLETELY different. If you’re working from home as well it must be near on impossible!
Just remember the most important thing is everyone’s well being. If children are feeling stressed, anxious or upset they won’t learn anything. Yes, learning is important but at the moment our priority is keeping everyone safe.
Have fun together and look at this as a positive time to reconnect with each other. Cook, draw, play games, walk, build with Lego, take time to notice things. These all have lots of educational value as well as supporting our mental wellbeing.
It’s hard, but try and look for the positives. It’s not a good time but there will be some good in every day. Take care. 💜
