Axis Trampoline Club

Well done to our gymnasts on the final day of English Championships! This was the last comp in a busy couple of months and we are proud of everyone for representing the club so well!

Our trampolinists completed all routines showing progress in height, difficulty and ex*****on across the season with Tom finishing with a well deserved bronze medal 🥉

The DMT gymnasts all completed all their passes with Jess narrowly missing out on the final finishing 9th. Ellen and Izzy both made the final finishing 4th and 7th.

We are especially proud of the sportsmanship shown from the Axis gymnasts at these events. Cheering for and congratulating all their competitors/friends is a great thing to watch and we’re proud they are out there doing just that!

It’s exciting and rewarding to win medals but seeing how all the Axis gymnasts conducted themselves out on the floor, making friends and memories with others is something we are very proud of! 🧡🖤

English Championships day one done with 100% competition 💪 Congratulations to all the gymnasts!

Max and Jake started the day strong both making it into final 2 with Max finishing 4th and Jake winning the bronze medal 🥉

Willow was up next and completed both her passes sticking the first one as she often does 👏

There were 6 gymnasts in the silver 11-12 girls group which was a very strong showing, something to be proud of! Eliza, Elsa and Trixie all made the final with everyone doing fab passes 😊

Joe finished the day on trampoline completing both his routines putting him into the senior men’s final where he finished 7th 🧡

Today was the first competition in our new club leotards and they all looked amazing! Thank you so much to CrossFit Fort Ashton for sponsoring the gymnasts and making it possible for everyone to shine in their new kit😍

Due to the ongoing extreme temperatures we have had to make the difficult decision to CLOSE Axis from lunchtime on Friday 10th of July.

The gym can get around 10° hotter than outside which wouldn’t be safe for our gymnasts. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our gymnasts, parents, and staff remain our highest priority

We will continue to closely monitor the weather forecasts and assess conditions within the club before making a decision regarding sessions.

Any further updates will be communicated as soon as possible.

We are OPEN AS USUAL tonight & tomorrow (8th & 9th of July). Please remember to bring your water bottles! ☀

Well done to Ari, Eliza, Hedy, Elsa, Tom, Niamh, Liv, Sofia and Berry who competed for the South West at inter-regional finals this weekend. For a lot of them this was their first time on the team and first time competing a national finals in a big arena!

Congratulations to all the gymnasts for qualifying for this event, what a big achievement!

Our gymnasts helped the South West team win on Trampoline and come 2nd on DMT 🏆

Huge milestone hit in Axis DMT last week with the first double, double pass done by a junior gymnast. To make it even more exciting , Max and Jake both did it in the same session! 💪

Since starting DMT for younger gymnasts back in 2022 the kids have gone from strength to strength! With 90% of gymnasts coming from our rec gym program with no trampoline or DMT skills! They all started from scratch and it’s built from 8 gymnasts doing 1.5 hours a week to 64 gymnasts on the DMT 4-9.30pm Monday - Friday!

It’s been amazing to watch the program and gymnasts grow and seeing the entire journey makes it even more special 🧡🖤

Well done Jake and Max for leading the way on this and we’re sure it’ll be the first of many more to come!

Another great day at the last league qualifier of the year 😊 First national competition for some and another chance to get points for others.

After all events it’s looking like we will have a new record of qualifiers to league finals 🧡🖤 A great effort from everyone this year! Well done to all our competitors, we look forward to seeing the confirmed finalists!

A fantastic start to League Q3 for team Axis 🧡 This is the first competition where Axis have competed in all 3 disciplines - Trampoline, DMT and Tumbling. Lots of great performances and points gained towards league finals!
