☀️ Did you know the Government has launched the Great British Summer Savings scheme to help families enjoy the summer holidays for less?

Until 1st September, VAT has been cut on children's meals in restaurants, family tickets to cinemas, theatres and concerts, and entry to a huge range of attractions. Children aged 5-15 can also travel free on buses throughout August, making it easier than ever to get out and explore together!

Thank you so much to all of our children and families who joined us for our End of Term Summer Celebration this week! 🌳🎉

Calling all families of children at Knowle West Nursery School! 🧺🎶 You're invited to our End of Year Celebration Family Picnic on Wednesday 15th July at 11.45am. Morning sessions run as usual (8.45–11.45), and all children need to be picked up at 11.45am supported by a parent or carer. Due to the very high temperatures forecast this week, Knowle West Nursery School will be closed to all children on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June. This decision has been made to help keep children and staff safe during the extreme heat.

We are planning to reopen on Friday 26th June for the morning session only. Please continue to check your emails and our page for any updates.

While children are at home, please help them stay cool by offering plenty of water, applying sun cream, and encouraging the use of sun hats if they are outside. It is also important that children are carefully supervised around water, including paddling pools and when swimming.

We are thrilled to share some very exciting news: Ilminster Avenue Nursery School will be hosting the Gympanzees Pop-Up this summer, from 5th August to 23rd August!

This year marks a very special milestone, as Gympanzees celebrates its 10th anniversary, and this August Pop-Up will be its tenth. For a decade, Gympanzees has been working towards a world where disabled children, young people and their families can move, play, connect and belong without barriers. We are incredibly proud that our school will be part of this celebration.

Families can look forward to specialist equipment, inclusive activities, and the warm, welcoming environment that Gympanzees is so well known and loved for. This will also be a particularly memorable event, as it is the final Pop-Up before Gympanzees opens its permanent centre next year.

Pre-booking will be essential.
