Hurtling along the narrow streets of the Medina in a Tuk Tuk was the unexpected hilarious highlight of our Marrakech trip. But the food waiting for us at the Berber Duchess was well worth the adventure ๐

If you can't smell your diffuser try:
* Flipping the reeds. Turning them weekly gives the scent a refresh
* Moving it to somewhere where there is movement and airflow but not next to an open window
* Changing the reeds.
Changing the reed type from willow to fibre (or vice versa) or even the diameter of the reeds can help the fragrance travel easier. And sometimes they just get blocked.
And if all those fail it might be time to change your brand, one designed for stronger scent throw. People have different 'noses' for smells. I can shove a strong diffuser under the nose of my husband and he just looks confused tbh ๐

Iโll admit it: Iโm a fragrance obsessive. I rotate my own perfumes daily to match my mood, but there is something so profoundly comforting about the "linger" of someone elseโs scent.
When I hug my husband and catch a hint of Chanel Bleu or the citrus warmth of Fragonard Concerto later that day on my own skin, it isnโt just chemistry. Itโs a sensory souvenir.
But this "transference of scent" goes so much deeper than perfume. Itโs why we instinctively reach for a loved oneโs sweater when theyโre away, or why we keep a certain blanket long after they are gone.
I remember when we lost our dog; for months, I just wanted to breathe in his scent on his favorite blanket or find that familiar smell in the spots where he used to sleep. It wasn't morbid, it was a biological need to find him again.
Scent is the only sense with a direct hotline to the brain's emotional center. It is the closest we can get to "feeling" a presence when someone isn't in the room.
To me, it proves that love never really leaves. It just changes form. It stays in the fabric, in the air, and in the traces left behind.
Which scent makes you feel most at home? Is it a perfume, a person, or a memory?

My wax melts last too long apparently ๐๐
So, if you are looking for a scent that disappears the moment you leave the room, it seems I'm not your woman.
Sorry for any disappointment caused ๐

Scent relaxes your physiology, but nothing changes if you don't change the story in your head.
Reading words that stimulate the subconscious mind while in a relaxed state is powerful. When your body is calm, your mind is open to a new narrative.
Why did I spend 18 months in R&D working with plant wax? Because you can't rewrite your future while breathing in soot from paraffin wax.
Don't just settle for a nice smell, start choosing transformation.
