or almost a decade and as such BTIT is able to enjoy the benefits and resources of the Academy. From very simple beginnings the BTIT Supplementary School has expanded with a great deal of support from the local community. The school is currently composed of 23 classes, which range from reception through to GCSE. With over 500 pupils whose ages’ range from 4 years through to 17 years and approximately 80 volunteers BTIT has grown from very humble beginnings. It is through the commitment, dedication and professionalism of the BTIT staff that the school has gained a reputation in being able to achieve the maximum potential from each individual. The diversity of BTIT is well reflected in both of its staff and pupils with individuals from Indian subcontinent, Somalia, Malaysia, South Africa and the Middle East. The BTIT Sunday School is the largest supplementary school in the South West region of UK. The Sunday provides services to approximately 200 Muslim families residing in Bristol.
