šŸŽ„Love Christmas but hate the waste? Do you feel like there is enough stuff on the planet already? šŸŒŽ
This year - don't buy - CREATE TOGETHER!

My friend Nadia and I have combined our professional experience and creative passion to set up a new project called CREATE TOGETHER!

We facilitate spaces that enable families to come together and get creative, without any of the stress. We want you to have fun, relax and enjoy those moments with your kids that spark when creating something together.

Sound good?

We will be hosting a Christmas decoration making session at the community centre on Sunday 28th November. The theme is recycle/up cycle and reuse! Everything will be made out of used and found materials! This event is suitable for children of all ages (parents/carers to supervise your kids during the session).

āš”ļøPlease can you help our new project by SHARING the EVENT PAGE with your contacts?

āš”ļøReally hope to see some of you there. Find out more or book your space through our eventbrite page

Hello Gang - & goodbyešŸ‘‹

I have made a decision not to carry on with Wriggle Roos Messy play & parties. Want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and especially to my mum for helping me run the sessions, scrape the filth off the floor, scour the slime, sweep the flour and generally keep me calm when I was running around like a headless chicken! šŸ’‹

It’s been a blast! āš”ļøIt was a great achievement for me to set up and run a small business, I loved it. I have met so many great people through doing it ā¤ļø. I’m so grateful to those first few parents who took a risk and booked me for their kids parties, it was an honour to be part of your special days. A huge thank you too, to everyone who bought play packs and play dough during lockdown- it really helped keep me going. Thank you for supporting a small business by coming to my mad little messy play group xx

Very difficult time for all local baby & toddler groups. Hope we can all find ways to carry in supporting small businesses! I’m sad not to carry on, but even if Corona virus hadn’t come along, I wouldn’t carry on with it forever. It was perfect when Roo was little and the group has grown with him. Reuben has just turned three and I have recently been offered a new job....it’s time for me to move on.

Look forward to seeing some of you again soon...maybe in a group where someone else cleans up the mess! 😁

Love
Emily & Reuben (the original Wriggle Roo!)

Sadly St Werbees Stay & Play is currently postponed. We don't have a date at the moment when we will be back and running. As soon as there is any news we will let you know.

Little bit of oat play on a rainy day. Anyone else’s wriggler obsessed with getting in EVERYTHING? See a pan, sit in the pan! Still, lots of imaginative & sensory fun- getting in the pan boat and making the oats become the waves ā›µļøšŸ’¦

Morning! How is everyone? It’s so nice to feel a bit more ā€˜normal’ again? I was so busy posting ideas on here and thinking of ways to keep Roo entertained and busy throughout the day...it’s only when you stop and pause that you realise how stressful and frightening things have been. I think social media can sometimes give a very distorted view of life.

Setting up messy trays and planning craft activities is my way of coping with stress and keeping busy. I’ve been furloughed and obviously no messy play sessions or parties to plan. But seeing lots of lovely photos on here doesn’t tell the full story of a day.

I haven’t been posting on here recently because I have been enjoying seeing friends, family and being outdoors with Roo again. It’s been good to have a break from social media! Hope everyone is transitioning out of lockdown safely and in a way that feels right for you. It’s been a tough time, sending out lots of love to all the Wrigglers and their families...hopefully see you soon # # #

Found a new way to store our rainbow wriggle rice! A neighbour had put this little ikea table out on the street so we grabbed it and gave it a good clean. Now we have a jigsaw table and a place to play with the rice. Thanks street!šŸ™ŒšŸ»

I haven’t dyed any rainbow rice for a while but if you are interested in a pack I can make you up a tub in your chosen colours (or rainbow mix🌈 ). Also have limited number of play trays and tool packs available too. Get in touch for more info xx

My granddad has made me, my brother and cousins some beautiful wooden toys when we were little including dolls houses, forts, trucks, marble runs and all sorts. Now he is making toys for Reuben (who is being spoilt as the the first great grandchild in the family).

This is a video of him demonstrating a farm yard he has just made and how it all fits away together. He said it was okay to share because ā€œhe wants it to become a YouTube sensationā€. When we saw him last he told me What I needed to do was get on TikTok!? He’s 87. What a legend.
