I've been massively geeking out on this first week of using my writing for the start of the new year. So far managed to wake up at 6am and get a quiet puppy free / kid free hour in every day this week, while the dreams 💭 are still lingering and the list-making work brain is still switched off.

Ridiculously satisfying to be able to fill in my micro targets each day ✔️ and quietly reassuring to know that regular, small windows of time make a massive difference to closing the gap between the dream and the reality.

We're writing with our reptile minds for the first session back of the summer term - THE HUMAN ZOO at New Lines Poets starts TONIGHT: Wednesday 6th May 8-10pm. Haul your binbag of old wounds out from under the bed. Get ready to RAGE.

Bring any poems you've been working on to discuss in the second hour if you like, but I'll also prepare enough material to stretch the workshop into the second hour if you'd prefer just to Write.
