Amberley Hall Day Nursery

This week the children have been talking about The Olympics, as the weather was so beautiful yesterday we decided to take a trip to the downs to do our very own Amberley Olympics 🥇🥈🥉

After everyone’s hard work we found some shade and enjoyed ice-lollies before heading back to nursery 😋

Our school leavers party 🎉🎈

We will be so sad to see our pre-school children leave to the next adventure at big school, but we know they will all do amazingly!❤️

Our summer concert went beautifully, thank you to all the parents who attended. The children worked really hard practicing the songs/dances and throughly enjoyed putting on a show for you all ☀️💛

Oral health day 🦷🪥

We have also been focusing on Oral hygiene and why it is important. We were very blessed to have Freddie’s mummy, Fiona who is a children’s dental nurse come in and talk to the children about oral hygiene. Fiona also provided colouring pages and an activity on what foods make our teeth happy and sad 👍🏼👎🏻

What a fab morning the staff and children have had celebrating world colour day with a paint fight. We provided spray bottles, balloons and a tuff tray all filled with powder paints. The children had such a wonderful time they have asked if we can do this again in the summer.. and of course we said yes!🌈

Amberley Hall's Red Nose Day 2024 Help kate ashplant raise money to support Comic Relief

World book day 2024 📖 What a lovely week of dressing up, engaging in imaginative role plays, immersing ourselves into books and book themed craft activities. Thank you to all the children that came in dressed up, you all looked amazing ✨

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Celebrating burns night.. We used paint and pencils to create our own Scottish flags. For lunch the children also had opportunity to try haggis and tatties! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Shape, space and numbers.. some of the maths activities the children have been doing 🧮
