🌟 Pre-schools trip to Yate! 🌟

What a lovely little adventure we had on our recent trip to Yate! 😊

We travelled together on the bus, where the children were fully engaged throughout the journey. Along the way, we spotted two ambulances, which sparked a fantastic discussion about the important work they do and why they might use their lights. We also talked about bus safety, including when it’s the right time to press the bell—great understanding all round! 🚌

Once we arrived, we visited a stall to choose a snack, and there were some brilliant healthy choices made—apples were a popular pick! 🍎 Although the weather was a little rainy, we made the most of it by taking shelter and keeping our spirits high. ☔

We then enjoyed a visit to a charity shop on a £1 budget, making it a fun and thoughtful challenge. The children took their time choosing and were delighted to discover how much they could get for their money—some fantastic finds included a train, a helicopter, and other small toys! 🚁🚂

Back at nursery, there was lots of excitement as everyone shared their experiences and proudly showed their treasures to friends. It was a wonderful outing filled with learning, conversation, and smiles all around. 💛

🐰🥚 Spot the Easter Eggs! 🥚🐰

The children at Silver Stars Day Nursery had so much fun heading off on an Easter adventure down to the forest! 🌿🌳

They searched high and low for hidden Easter eggs, following bunny footprints 🐾 and exploring all the secret hiding spots along the way.
It was a wonderful outdoor adventure full of excitement, discovery, and lots of smiles! 😄✨

We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating Easter and the arrival of spring here at Silver Stars Day Nursery! 🌷✨
The children have been busy exploring a range of exciting activities – from hands-on sensory play to some delicious baking, filling our days with creativity, laughter, and learning. 🍪🎨
One of the highlights was our very own Easter bonnet parade! 🎩🐰 The children proudly showed off their fantastic creations, and it was lovely to see so much imagination and effort on display.
We are so proud of all the children and the joy they bring to our nursery every day. 💛

What a wonderful and laughter-filled day at Silver Stars Day Nursery for Red Nose Day! ❤️🤡🎉
Our children had so much fun getting involved in a variety of exciting activities throughout the day 🎨✂️ From creative crafts to dressing up and sharing lots of giggles 😄, it was a fantastic way to celebrate while learning about kindness, caring for others, and spreading happiness 💖🌍
We were also thrilled to welcome Jazzy Jamboree for a special visit! 🎶✨ The children loved singing along to nursery rhymes 🎤, dancing their hearts out 💃🕺, and joining in with all the interactive musical fun 🥁🎵. It was such a joyful session and brought so many smiles to everyone’s faces 😊
Thank you to everyone who made the day so memorable ❤️

Join me during the first week of the Easter holidays as we sing some of our very favourite springtime Jazzy Jamboree songs at our EASTER SPECIAL SESSIONS 🐣

Grand Old Duke (with Easter Egg shakers)

Plus, an Easter story time, whilst munching out through a chocolate treat! 🍫
Exciting times!

Each session will be around 45 minutes.
The Easter specials will take place on the following dates/venues and times:

TUESDAY 7th April, The Conference Hall, Ridgewood Centre, Yate.
9.15-10am
10.15 – 11am
11.15 – 12pm

WEDNESDAY 8th April, Manor Hall, Coalpit Heath.
9.15 – 10am
10.15 – 11am
11.15- 12pm

THURSDAY 9th April, Old Sodbury Village Hall.
9.15 – 10am
10.15 -11am
11.15 – 12pm

There will be limited places available, so please book early to avoid disappointment of your preferred time.

Each session is £7 per child, there is then a half price sibling discount for all children over 3 months of age (i.e., £10.50 for two siblings, £14 for three siblings etc)

Please take a moment to read through the poster so you feel confident and reassured in recognising the symptoms and knowing when to seek help. 💚
