IT Update: Temporary Fix Now in Place

We are pleased to share that we have managed to implement a temporary "first aid" technical fix to help us operate the school as effectively as possible while work continues on the broader issue.

While this allows us to resume basic operations, our systems are not yet running at full speed and some communication channels and services remain affected.

Our team is working toward a robust, permanent solution so we can return to full normal service as soon as possible. We will post another update once all systems are fully restored.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work through this final phase!

Morning Update on School Communications & IT Systems

Following yesterday's communication, our Excalibur IT team worked throughout the night to address the technical issues. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, we have not been able to reach a resolution at this stage.
Please note that all communication channels are currently affected, including our phone lines.
We would like to remind everyone that this is a wider issue originating from a Bristol-based provider rather than an isolated problem with our school systems. As a result, if you send an email, please be aware that we may not receive it until the issue is resolved.
Our teams are continuing to work closely on this, and we will update you as soon as we have further news.
Thank you once again for your ongoing patience, understanding, and support.

Important Update regarding School Communications

Please be aware that an IT issue is currently affecting several organisations across Bristol today, including our school. As a result, our emails and usual communication channels may be delayed or unavailable.

Our Excalibur Trust IT team is already on-site and working hard as we speak to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Please bear with us while we work through this - thank you all for your patience and understanding!

We will post an update tomorrow.

We are proud to share that Ashton Park School has been awarded the Bronze Anti-Racist School Award by the Carnegie School of Education at Leeds Beckett University! 🏆✨

This recognition, granted through the Centre for Race, Education & Decoloniality, highlights our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and equitable environment for every student, staff member, and family in our community.

Achieving this award reflects the dedication of our entire school community to promoting equality, celebrating diversity, and actively working against racism. While this is a wonderful milestone to celebrate, it is also part of our continuous journey toward creating a school environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

A huge thank you to our students, staff, and families for their hard work and support in reaching this achievement! 👏
