Mangotsfield CofE Primary School - old

The old railings in place although not for long, on Richmond Rd, 5th June 2018.

Once demolition was complete and the foundations go in, 5th June 2018.

Wonder what happened to the mural once the school was knocked down, shot taken 5th June 2018.

My late mum and infants around 1983/84, would this be the room by the hall? Please shout if you recognise anyone/yourself.

Infront of the school gate where children once poured in every day, a memorial plynth and statues now sit to remember what once stood behind those railings.

The Richmond Road side enterance, I had a very good friend I used to meet here call Rachel Maidstone, she left the school after the first 2 or 3 years in the late 70's, anyone recognise the surname?

Storage rooms behind the 4th year class room

The school gate hidden in vegitation, not seen the light of day since the 2000's?!

Was the terrapin here? behind the infant block?

The vast playground, marbles anyone?!

There used to be a wall hiding the enterance to the school office, marched up here a few times for punishment by the head master! In all my time there i didn't realise there was an upstairs, or we dare'nt go up there?!
