We work in education settings to support and assist teachers with their oracy strategy. Providing a variety of communication workshops to address key employability challenges, improve self-esteem and engage with others confidently and persuasively. Yesterday we were delighted to welcome Joe Rowntree from 'Talk the Talk', a charity dedicated to developing young people’s oracy skills.

Our Year 8 and 9 students took part in engaging workshops, with students speaking brilliantly about their partners in front of their peers and developing their confidence and presentation skills.

After school, staff also took part in a session exploring how we can develop oracy in our teaching, encourage more students to speak in lessons and increase active participation.

Oracy is an essential life skill, helping students to express ideas clearly, listen to others, build confidence and prepare for life beyond school.

A huge thank you to Joe and Talk the Talk for an inspiring day!"

Another fantastic day at The Pingle Academy delivering Talk About Communication workshops to eight Year 10 groups.

Since 2019, we've had the pleasure of visiting this school on 15 occasions, supporting thousands of students in developing their communication and confidence skills.

A special thank you to Janet Gostick who has expertly organised the vast majority of these workshops over the years. Janet has been a huge part of making each visit such a success, and we're incredibly grateful for her support.

We're very much looking forward to our next visit in September.
